Brief description
These projects will undertake research and monitoring to assess the ecosystem effects of recreational fishing on key fish and invertebrate species as well as to determine the nature of any indirect effects of these activities on the structure of the fringing reef ecosystem. In this way it will enable the effectiveness and appropriateness of current management for comprehensiveness, adequacy and representativeness of park zoning to be assessed. NRP framework components E1, E2, E3, and also components A1.3 and D2.3 are included in the Expression of Interest. The total value of projects put up in this EOI is $1.98 million of which $967K is requested directly from the NRP and $1.02 million is committed as in-kind or cash contributions.Lineage
