This dataset contains the digitised and extended historical meteorological records for Australia, dating from before Federation. The data has been sourced from -The Bureau of Meteorology -National and State Archives -Historical Societies -Pre Federation Observatories In 2011, this data is being used by the SEARCH (South East Australian Recent Climate History) project to historically contextualise 21st century climate events.
