Brief description Early menopause (EM) (menopause before age 45 yrs), occurring spontaneously or secondary to medical treatments, affects more than 10% of women. EM is associated with negative impacts on psychological/physical health, both short and long term. This project aims to clarify EM health issues and address gaps in consumer/health professional understanding/ treatment of EM, with development of resources including a comprehensive EM website for consumers/health professionals to improve health outcomes.
