Dynamically downscaled climate data for NSW fire weather

Brief description

The collection comprises ASCII files of climate data for a single location in New South Wales (NSW). These files contain daily temperature and rainfall for a selection of time periods in the 20th and 21st centuries. They are being used by researchers at the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and the University of New South Wales to investigate the impact of climate change on bush fire weather conditions. The collection was derived from a ~10km resolution Regional Climate Model (RCM) simulation. Although derived from a single RCM simulation, the collection demonstrates the type of data that will be available from the ensemble of RCM simulations being run by the New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory Regional Climate Model (NARCliM) project.
