Brief description

The Drought Communities Programme (DCP) Extension supports communities in the most drought-affected regions of Australia, funding local councils to complete local infrastructure and other drought relief projects.

As at 28 January 2020, 180 Councils have access to $301 million in funding providing an economic stimulus, creating jobs and supporting local communities.

The Drought Communities Programme Extension is being administered through the Business Grants Hub at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources.
