Dr Robert Bewley

Brief description

Dr Robert Bewley is part of the Classics and Ancient History Department within the School of Humanities at the University of Western Australia. Along with Winthrop Professor David Kennedy, he is the director of the APAAME long-term research project which is based at the University of Western Australia. The project is designed both to develop a methodology suited to the region and to illuminate settlement history in the Near East. The archive currently consists of almost 45,000 aerial images, over 40,000 of which are displayed on the archive’s Flickr site.
