Brief description
Dr Vaneckova is an environmental epidemiologist whose research interests focus on the effect of climate and weather on human health, particularly on the health impacts of extremely hot temperatures. She currently is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Research, University of Western Sydney (UWS) where she has been working on the ‘CSIRO Climate Adaptation Flagship: Urbanism, Climate Adaptation and Health Collaboration Cluster.’ under the direction of A/Prof Hilary Bambrick.
