He holds an ARC Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) and is a scholar in the fields of social policy and economic geography. Dr. Markham’s research integrates quantitative methods, particularly Geographic Information Systems (GIS), to examine policy issues in Indigenous economic policy and the regulation of harmful commodities such as poker machines and tobacco.
