Dr David Cohen

Brief description

Dr Cohen BSc(Hons), MSc and PhD in Physics. He is a Senior Principal Research Scientist, Leader Accelerator Science Project. Dr David Cohen joined AINSE in 1976 and ANSTO in 1989 and has over 33 years research experience in nuclear and atomic physics, materials science, archaeometry, biology, and environmental studies. Dr David Cohen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Physics and the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand, an Honorary Professor in Faculty of Engineering, University of Wollongong. In November 2009 Dr David Cohen was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (FTSE). Dr David Cohen has over 185 refereed journal and 360 conference and report publications and is widely recognised nationally and internationally as an expert in accelerator-based ion beam analysis.
