Brief description

Vegetation community mapping for Dooragan National Park by Penny and Keith Kendall, 1997. The study was undertaken to provide specific floristic site data. Ten full floristic sites were surveyed. The methodology and proformas used were consistent with the 1995 NPWS NRAC survey. The survey consisted of a full floristc survey in a 20 x 50 metre plot. Structural information was also recorded using the NRAC methodology. A sample copy of the NRAC vegetation and the mapping proformas are included in Appendix 1 of the report. The location of the floristic sites and cmpleted proformas are included in Appendix 2 of the report. The information collected from the sites was supplemented by opportunistic observations. The contract was undertaken for Mid North Coast NPWS Region. VIS_ID 253.
