Brief description Breast Cancer (BrCa) remains a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the Australian community. For women, it is the second-leading cause of cancer death (more than 3000 Australians in 2014). We are using cutting-edge technologies to study the genetics of breast cancer cells and the tissue environment in which they grow. This extremely novel research aims to find new treatments for women with aggressive and metastatic breast cancer.
