Brief description

DELWP’s Environment Management System (EMS) was set up to meet government requirements under

Financial Reporting Directive 24D (FRD24D). It enables the department to monitor environmental performance over time and to seek further ways to reduce environmental impacts. DELWP reports against a range of indicators for energy and water consumption, transportation,

waste generation, paper purchasing, green procurement and greenhouse gas emissions. Data is captured through consumption reports, surveys and audits at DELWP sites.
