Brief description
10 separate studies of both the author's own research projects and collaborative projects, in which the author has been the major contributor were used to illustrate the advantages and pitfalls of using spatial data gathered from a remote sensor to simply measure the characteristics of the surface, the column and the features at the bottom of a water body in coastal marine, estuarine and riverine environments.This work involved study areas mainly from Perth but also Broome and Geographe Bay ranging from 1986 to 1996.
