Full description
This Desert Ecology Plot Network Research Group aims to track long-term shifts in biodiversity in desert mammal and herpetofauna assemblages. The Plot Network has also collected data on vegetation (floristics and structure) and weather data. The study focusses on key drivers, which are intrinsic to both the resource-pulse dynamics and due to human disturbance, including unpredictable rainfall and droughts, fire, feral predators and grazing.Data time period: 1990 to 2018
