Brief description

The Department of Health’s mission is to achieve the best health and wellbeing
for all Victorians.The Department of Health undertakes planning, policy
development and funding of health care activities to promote and protect the
health and wellbeing of all Victorians. Hospital services, mental health
services, aged care and public health activities are delivered in partnership
with public and private health service providers, local government and non
government service providers.The Department's services are delivered through
eight outputs encompassing Acute Health Services, Ambulance Services, Mental
Health, Ageing, Aged and Home Care, Primary, Community and Dental Health,
Small Rural Health, Public Health and Drug Services. This spreadsheet provides
data relating to these outputs.
