From the Article: “the team deployed a Diamond Aircraft HK36TTC-ECO Dimona motorglider with two LiDAR systems mounted in under-wing pods: a Riegl Q680i-S (topographic) and a Riegl VQ-820-G (topo-bathymetric), each combined with a tactical grade IMU/GPS system (Novatel SPAN ISA/LCI). A Canon 5D Mk4 was fitted with an EF 24 mm (f/1.4LII USM) lens and co-mounted with the Q680i-S. Point cloud density ranged between 10 and 20 points/m2, and data was processed and converted to a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) using the Global Mapper LiDAR module.  GCP (.xls 1 file): Trimble Net R9 dGPS data with Trimble RTX Satellite Subscription.
