Brief description

Information on the schools and early childhood services at risk of grassfire - Category 4 List, including a list of all schools, kindergartens and early childhood services.



Inclusion on this list is a trigger for the school, kindergarten or early childhood service to pre-emptively close on days forecast 'Catastrophic' in their fire weather district.



Schools, kindergartens and early childhood services at greater fire risk (those assessed to be in fire risk categories 0, 1, 2 and 3) are listed on the department’s Bushfire At-Risk Register (BARR).
