Brief description

Information on the schools and early childhood services at risk of grassfire - Category 4 List, including a list of all schools, kindergartens and child care facilities.



Inclusion on this list is a trigger for the school, kindergarten or child care facility to pre-emptively close on days forecast 'Catastrophic' in their fire weather district.



Schools, kindergartens and child care facilities at greater fire risk (those assessed to be in fire risk categories 0, 1, 2 and 3) are listed on the department’s Bushfire At-Risk Register (BARR).
