Full description

The purpose of the survey was to check accuracy of existing survey control and install new survey control as necessary and then determine the location and elevation of all:
1. Hand auger pits, hand dug pits, seismic lines, drill holes, centre lines of proposed runways, old pits, tracks,
2. Topographic features such as seasonal lakes, coastline, bedrock boundaries, natural surface levels, break lines in rock outcrops, ice wedges,
3. Ecotox sampling sites and
4. Sufficient natural surface levels to bed down the ICECAP LIDAR data to create a Digital Elevation Model for the area of survey.
