Funtional Data Analysis (FDA) treats the data as a function and for waveform analysis provides a framework to compare differences in mean, variance and the first derivative of the functions.

Data set contains: Light adapted electroretinograms and extracted oscillatory potential waveforms were analyzed using an FDA approach. Light adapted ERG and oscillatory potential waveforms from 71 individuals with autism spectrum disorder and 98 Control participants. Robust and powerful nonparametric permutation-based tests were developed for the mean, variance, and first derivative of the waveforms.Dataset is part of the publication: "Technical Note: A new way to look at the light-adapted electroretinogram through Functional Data Analysis"

LInk to R-code for FDA analyssi available at: https://www.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~hlavka/stat.html
