Full description
This dataset presents data collected by underwater video cameras and multi-parameter loggers on the edge and 5 m inside (in-forest) a mangrove forest in Bourake, New Caledonia, from 21 February to 25 February 2017 and from 27 February to 1 March 2017. It comprises all the information related to date, time, site, habitat (edge vs in-forest), tidal range, tide direction (increasing vs decreasing), time of day (afternoon vs morning), lunar phase (neap vs spring tide), dissolved oxygen, depth of sampling, the characteristic of the video recordings, and fish data (taxonomic richness (how many taxa recorded during one 5-minute video interval; matrix of presence (1) vs absence (0) for each taxon identified).
