The community water enterprise has become a scalable model for achieving Sustainable Development Goal number 6, pertaining to access to water for all. This will contribute to knowledge by examining the effects on common pool resource management and how this mode of water delivery impacts on trust in water infrastructure and how it reconfigures customary relations and obligations in rural villages.
