Files included are:

  • "FrogIliaPaper.R" - R script used for all analyses, including PCA, ssPCA, allometry, fossil SVL interpolation, and heatmap visualisation of pairwise comparisons of allometric trajectories and fossil classification probabilities.
  • "CoordsFrogIlia.tps" - 3D coordinate data (x, y, z) for 94 modern and 15 fossil ilia specimens needed for R code analysis.
  • "CoordsANOVA.tps" - 3D coordinate data (x, y, z) for three modern specimens, one from each family represented, needed for R code ANOVA test analysis.
  • "ClassifierThesis.txt" - Metadata file containing information for all modern and fossil specimens, columns include filename, identification (based on ssPCA results), species, family, specimen catalogue number, SVL (mm), and ecological category. While identifications were assigned post-analysis, this combined file is provided for consistency and ease of reference.
  • "ClassifierANOVA.txt" - Metadata file for the three modern specimens used in the ANOVA test.

The CT-scans of modern specimens and PLY files of fossils are available on Morphosource.org under the projects “Southern Australian frogs” (Project ID 000532257) and "Naracoorte Caves World Heritage Area frog fossils" (Project ID 000774773), respectively. Fossil specimens are to be accessioned at the South Australian Museum.
