In addition to examining susceptibility to misinformation, we also examined susceptibility to racist misinformation, by examining the effectiveness of the two inoculation approaches on recognising racism and inaccurate portrayals of racialized groups. Lastly, the study also compared the targeted and broad-spectrum inoculation interventions with each other, to examine the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. The dataset contains the survey responses of 2001 Australians aged 18 years or age and older. The experimental survey included a combination of close-ended and open-ended questions. The questions included demographic and background characteristics, experimental stimuli, questions about the experimental stimuli, and various attitudes on diversity. This dataset contains an SPSS file and an excel file from the experimental survey. This dataset cannot be published openly due to ethics conditions.
