Ocean salinities now have units of g/kg. The GSW Oceanographic Toolbox, http://www.teos-10.org/software.htm has almost 100 functions, such as density, entropy, enthalpy, Conservative Temperature, buoyancy frequency, and various geostrophic streamfunctions.
