Full description

From July to October 1997 a set of broad-band instruments were deployed in the Kimberley region, both on the King Leopold and Halls creek fold belt and the interior of the block (Figure 1). This region of northern Australia has been the subject of very little geophysical investigation on crustal and larger scales, and this year's station placements were designed to build on the information obtained from the stations in the SK3 and SK6 legs of the SKIPPY experiment to improve knowledge of the region.
