More than 1000 samples of fish and zooplankton were taken and fish identified to species level. Additional traps were anchored around Lizard Island, Eagle Island, Linnett Reef, Martin Reef, Day Reef and fished at the same time. Sampling was done monthly during the summer of 1995-96.
