Brief description



This data relates to the proportion of cropping farms which employed
conservation, tillage, direct drilling or traditional cultivation methods in
the period 1998-1999. The proportion of farms undertaking conservation
cropping techniques is reported at the Statistical Division (SD) level for
Australia. This data relates to broadacre and dairy farms run by owner
managers. The data was collected by Resource Management Supplementary (RMS)
survey interview which accompanied the ABARE Annual farm survey in 1998-1999.
The data is presented at a scale of 25000000. Projection: Albers Equal-Area
