The data set contains three basic elements: 1) extracts of a reflective journal composed contemporaneously by the author of the study who was also the leader of an innovation management project in his department, 2) entries pulled from an e-journal which was composed retrospectively based on key milestones, and 3) transcripts of two focus group discussions conducted by the author of the study with stakeholders and users of the South Australian Business Research Environment data linked with the Business Longitudinal Analytical Data Environment.
