This study was commissioned by the Cooperative Research Centre for the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area and the Australian Fisheries Management Authority. The objectives were as follows: 1. Review the current data collected on the reef line fishery in Eastern Torres Strait, with special reference to what data are available, what is the quality of those data and what data should be collected to fill gaps in existing information. 2.
