Crawford Productions TV and Film Script Collection

This collection was donated to the AFI Research Collection by Crawford Productions in 2005. The collection contains a range of scripts from the late 1960s to the 1990s highlighting the importance and success of Crawford Productions as a producer of Australian television. Interesting aspects of the collection include the ability to trace the development of a script from first draft through a number of revisions to the final draft. Many of the scripts in the collection have been working scripts and contain annotations and some are accompanied by continuity shots. The majority of the scripts are from television series, though there are some films and mini-series included as well. Some of the television show scripts in this collection are: Homicide, The Box, The Sullivans, Zoo Family, Cop Shop, Skyways, Bluestone Boys, State Coroner, Acropolis Now. NOTE: much of this collection is yet to be catalogued, however the number of scripts within the collection is estimated to be in the thousands.
