Detailed biological collections (otoliths, scales, stomachs and gonads) were made of six species, Nemipterus peronii, Saurida undosquamis, Lethrinus choerorhynchus, Lutjanus malabaricus, Priacanthus macracanthus, and Plectorhynchus pictus. This record describes the datasets obtained on Courageous Cruise 049. The data were obtained from the Australian North West Shelf in April and May 1979.
