Full description

This research examines the E. radiata associated microbial community which was compared in three independent analyses via 16S gene sequencing. These involved comparing samples taken from the natural reef and aquaria control treatments. Comparing aquaria treatments involving media types (peptone, marine broth or filtered marine broth) and bacteria type (bacteria absent or seawater only control) finally comparing samples, based on bacteria types (bacteria absent, autoclaved bacteria, bacteria present) and kelp health (bleached and healthy) within each media type.
