An invesitgation on the binding competition between 3-Mercaptopropionic acid and 1,4-Benzenedimethanethiol was monitored using surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy.Gold substrate was modified with 3-MPA (Self Assembly formation) and the modified substrate was exposed to 1,4 BDMT solution and spectra were monitored every hour.
