Full description Gonorrhea, caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae, has become increasingly resistant to all currently prescribed antibiotics, posing a significant health burden if left untreated. With no effective drugs or vaccines available, the development of a new class of antibiotics has become a critical unmet need in human health. This project aims to address this challenge by developing a novel class of antibiotics capable of treating multidrug-resistant gonorrhea and other drug-resistant bacterial infections.
