Researchers: Dr Patrick Harris (Principal investigator)

Brief description The way the built environment is planned and designed has a pervasive influence on health but how to translate that evidence into policy and practice is under-researched. Recent developments in NSW provide the opportunity to investigate how health is included across the business of a land-use planning system. This translational research uses a realist approach and policy analysis to unpack the influences on health being included (or not) at multiple levels of the system.
