There are limitations with conventional technique to investigate the wettability of a sandstone rock in presence of CO2 and there lack of fundamental understanding of this important parameter. Therefore,

here we used an independent technique (NMR), which has a molecular resolution, to overcome some of the above mentioned limitations, and to add to the fundamental understanding of flow processes of scCO₂ through brine saturated porous rock. This work will thus aid in the implementation of large scale CO₂ geo-sequestration
