Brief description We will conduct a randomised controlled trial to determine the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a low-cost and sustainable community-based model of care for people who have returned home after spinal cord injury in Bangladesh. The model of care involves regular telephone-based monitoring and provision of ongoing education and advice with a limited home-based service. This package of care will be provided in the first two years following discharge from hospital.
