Brief description
Christopher Bull is a ARC centre of excellence for Climate System Science (ARCCSS) PhD student located at the Climate Change Research Centre (CCRC), University of New South Wales (UNSW).
Chris is interested in the ocean circulation around Australia. In particular, the Pacific to Indian inter-ocean exchange. Using Lagrangian techniques, Chris' PhD focuses on how Australia’s boundary currents are connected, under what mechanisms/timescales they vary and how their circulation will change in the future. Thesis title is "Inter-ocean exchange around Southern Australia and its relation to regional and global climate".
