Brief description This project examines the characteristics of Australian research and researchers whose work is judged to be influential in influencing public health policy in 6 areas: tobacco control, cancer screening, injury prevention, cardiovascular disease prevention, illicit drugs and alcohol control. The project involves work with both researchers and those who are in positions to advocate and enact policy (politicians, government officials, journalists, public health agencies).
