Full description

This study explored the genetic basis of fat traits in a large population of Black Baldy cattle using genome-wide association analysis. The primary objectives were to identify genomic regions and candidate genes associated with beef cattle fat traits. The identified genetic regions and candidate genes were assessed for consistency across multiple populations and previously reported loci.
