Full description

A dataset was formed by Identifying and counting examples of different headdresses on figures in the Aboriginal rock art of Arnhem Land and the Kimberley. I was looking at similarities and differences in headdress depictions as well as portrayals of circumcision on male figures. This data allowed a possible relationship between some similar motifs to be identified. The full dataset is within the Appendix of my thesis. Many related publications locating multiple photographs and articles are noted in my thesis reference section.
