The Centre provides a focus for research in Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs) and Land Administration by building on research relationships and creating new links through national and international collaboration. The Centre was established in 2001 within the Department of Geomatics (Infrastructure Engineering) at the University of Melbourne (Read news article..). Full-time researchers focus on problems at local, state, national and multinational levels.
