The speaker of this recording is Mr. Karma Wangdi, a native of Chema. He is a Tshangla speaker who can also speak Dakpa with confidence. His parents were Dakpa, but he was asked to speak in Tshangla as his parents migrated to a Tshangla-speaking community. Mr. Tashi Tshewang is a Dakpa speaker.
