Cascade State School (VA 3237) was a co-educational primary school in the Upper Murray region of northeastern Victoria. The school opened in 1921 on land donated by local resident James Mullins. The school accommodation building having been removed from the former Annandale State School (School No. 3534) site was re-erected for use at Cascade State School.From 1940, Cascade State School began working part-time with Spring Creek State School (School No. 2777), operating three days and two days in alternating weeks. Cascade State School was permanently closed in 1948.
Some years after the school’s closure, in 1959, out-offices were removed and re-erected at Koeting State School (School No. 3068). The demolition and removal of the remaining school buildings was completed by the Public Works Department (VA 669) in 1966.
