Brief description The aim is to make life safer for at-risk older people and to give them the capacity to participate in daily life activity. Transition from hospital to home and accidental falls are two events in which a lack of capacity to make adaptive changes or resume previous life activities can alter life course outcomes. I will engage in effectiveness trials of interventions and research to ensure the implementation of new knowledge into clinical and public health practice.
