Forster (Cape Hawke) Police Station was established in the North-eastern District in the year 1876. (1)

In 2010 Forster Police Station was located in the Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command with the Northern Region and was the Local Area Command Office.  In 2010 its address was corner of Lake and West Streets, Forster. (2)
