Brief description

The canola data was collected to understand canola physiological response to a range of environmental conditions and various agronomic management practices in the Australian cropping zone. The collection include data from over 50 experimental sites, 60 cultivars, various crop management practices (sowing date and density, fertiliser and water management) and measurements such above-ground biomass, grain yield, yield components, oil content, and N content. Experiments are mostly field studies which were conducted between 2009 and 2018 plus some controlled environment and glasshouse studies. The data was provided by CSIRO, NSW-DPI, and WA-DPIRD, and was collated from several projects funded by the Grains Research Development Corporation (GRDC).
Lineage: The data was collected from field experiments carried out over 50 experimental sites.
