Full description

By 1826 a Chief Constable had been appointed at Camden. (1)

By 1835 there were three police districts in the County of Camden: Stonequarry or Camden, Wollongong or Illawarra, and Bong Bong or Sutton Forest.(2)

In 1863 the provisions of the Police Act (1838 Act No. 2) were extended to the township of Camden (3) and Camden Police Station was listed as a station in the Eastern District.(4)

In 2014 Camden Police Station was also the Camden Local Area Command office in the South West Metropolitan Region. In 2014 its address was Corner Camden Valley Way and Wilson Crescent, Narellan. (5)
