This software calculates potential convergence line points from ERA5 data (find_candidate_convline_points) and then applies a line joining algorithm (join_candidate_convline_points) to create objective convergence line objects. The code is flexible and can be changed to identify lines of different scales, at different grid resolutions and with different datasets etc...
